Ana Sapphira formed in August of 2008 and has since released two well-received EPs, and a full length album entitled Edge Walker. The group traveled to Chapel Hill, NC and sought out the help of Al Jacob at Warrior Sound (He is Legend, A Sky Lit Drive) for the production and recording of Edge Walker. With this release, through brutal guitars, relentless vocals and consistent high energy live delivery, the band continues to encourage listeners to find the value in their own lives and the lives of others, and to passionately pursue a purpose filled life.

As a brand new act, the band performed at SoulFest, the largest Christian music festival in New England, for the first time in August of 2009. This year will mark their seventh year playing the festival where they will open for acts like Project 86 and P.O.D. The band also took the stage these past two years at iMatter Festival in Elmira, NY. After winning a battle of the bands competition to play the festival in 2014, they were among a small group requested to return and play in 2015. The band has become a partner with iMatter Fest’s lead sponsor Heart Support, a non-profit social organization founded by August Burns Red front man Jake Luhrs. The band has opened for many national touring acts since their inception, such as August Burns Red, PVRIS, We Came As Romans, For Today, Oh, Sleeper, Motionless in White, Hatebreed, among others.

Vocalist, Jonathan Lamper on Edge Walker:

“Edge Walker is about no longer settling for what I’ve always known. It’s about taking the risk on a purpose in life that’s much bigger than me and what’s always been comfortable.”

Listeners can look forward to Ana Sapphira doing what they do best – putting out heavy songs with strong purpose.
