London’s Drool return with new single ‘Teenage Skin’, released on February 24th 2022. Produced by the band and mixed and recorded by Jack Boston at Rockfield Studios, the single is a look back at how our teenage years can often form the way we think of ourselves in later life. It’s simply a song of empowerment, about how we each live and learn from our individual experiences and master them to build ourselves to be better.
Drool’s last EP, self funded by the band, was featured on 5 Apple Music playlists, Radio X Hot One and ROTW (John Kennedy) and entered at #70 in the iTunes Top 200 Tracks Italy Rock Chart. The London based band have released two EP’s to date totalling eight individual tracks, including debut single ‘Fun’, “a lo-fi force to be reckoned with” and ‘Lizard’, “a moody and gripping track that needs to be played on repeat”.
Included in This Feeling’s Big in 2022 artist roster, Drool ended 2021 with SOLD OUT shows in Birmingham and London as well as playing at the Isle of Wight Festival. With further headline shows in Southampton, Newcastle and London, Drool will release three further singles to lead the six-track EP ‘Songs for the Sad Kids’ releasing in May. Drool have garnered attention supporting Band of Skulls, The Mysterines, Black Grape and The Pale White on tours
