Established in 2014, These Wicked Rivers are part of the  new wave of rock and roll that is sweeping across the United Kingdom. Drawing influences from the likes of Black Stone Cherry and Clutch, the quartet have made quite an impact since their inception with their brand of blues-infused modern rock steadily picking up plaudits for their gutsy live performances across the UK.
The band received a slew of positive reviews for their debut EP ‘The Enemy’ back in 2015, and followed it up with 2017’s ‘II’, gaining them attention with the emerging New Wave of Classic Rock scene as well as airplay on Planet Rock and Hard Rock Hell radio.
Debut album ‘Eden’ was released in May 2020 and brought new levels of critical
acclaim, landing a Classic Rock Magazine ‘High Hopes’ feature as well as a coveted ‘Track of the Week’ accolade.
On the live circuit the lads have forged an ever growing fan base through supports with the likes of Tax The Heat, Ferocious Dog and Massive Wagons, as well playing stand-out performances at festivals such as Planet Rock Stock, YNot Festival, Hard Rock Hell and Giants of Rock to name but a few. Off the back of the success of their debut album, the band has been confirmed for a mainstage slot at Ramblin’ Man Fair in 2021.

“A well-oiled rock beast and in John Hartwell they have a frontman with a truly timeless, gratifyingly gravelly rock voice.” Planet Rock
